I’m Brian and I started Brilliantlyboring.com to help entrepreneurs and small business owners learn how to benefit from tools and best practices related to systems thinking and process improvement.
There’s a wealth of knowledge out there that is super valuable for anybody running a business of any size when it comes to systems thinking and process improvement. The problem is, much of it is locked away behind fancy certifications and expensive consultants.
These certifications have a place (I have a few of them myself) but they don’t help you as an entrepreneur or small business owner. Consultants that have these certifications are usually very expensive and require multiple month investments to start seeing a return.
It doesn’t have to be this way. There are many tools, techniques, and mental models that you can quickly and easily learn when they are explained the right way. These tools and techniques can be applied to your systems and processes immediately and show results quickly.
Instead of trying to show how smart we are by putting together complex explanations and tools, we strive to break things down and simplify concepts and tools so anybody can understand them and apply them quickly to real world situations.
Our focus is on tools and concepts that will help you understand systems thinking in a way that will allow you to make quick and lasting improvements to your processes, systems, and business. We focus on concepts that will increase your productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness: 3 keys to making any business successful for the long term.
We use technology in much of what we do. Similar to systems thinking and process improvement, technology doesn’t have to be a scary, complicated thing. Yes, under the hood it’s complicated, but the good news is you don’t have to look under the hood most of the time, and you can enjoy all the benefits of technology with some basic, simplified guidance and help.
We’re glad you’re here and have taken the time to get to know us a little bit better. If there’s anything we can do to help you get more productive, efficient, or effective, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
